Plently of dim sum there. A nice place for a full breakfast. Remember to come oh~
Since Kedah is our country main rice producer, a visit to the Paddy Museum is a must!
Visited the observatory on the 1st floor of the museum. There is a huge mural on the life of the people there. Take a seat on the rotating platform and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The Adventure Begins...
It takes 5 hours for us to travel from Muar to Kuantan. The road on the way to Kuantan was 'bengkang-bengkok'. Passed by Tangkak, Segamat and other places to reach Kuantan. My cousin picked us up at the bus terminal when we arrived. After that, me and Lovena managed to meet up with Si Mei and her crazy gang!
Later in the evening, my aunt brought us for a buffet dinner at Swiss Garden Resort. Really thank my aunt for this good meal!

A must go place in Kuantan - Teluk Cempedak. Wow~The beach is so beautiful!
Headed to Sungai Lembing in the afternoon.
A brief history about Sungai Lembing:
Sungai Lembing was one of the largest tin (bijih timah) production in Pahang. There was a British village named Lembah Sungai Kenau in this place.
There's a Rainbow Waterfall and a Crystal House at Sungai Lembing as well. But we didn't get to visit those places.
Sungai Lembing was indeed a very 'ulu' place. Very kampung..However, I kinda liked this place. Very peaceful & harmony. And the people there are very friendly!

Remember to pump up your vehicle's oil tang before Sunday coz this petrol kiosk is CLOSE on Sunday.
There wasn't much special food in Kuantan. Mostly Malay food. This is because the population in Kuantan were mostly Malays.
Say Goodbye to Kuantan!! We then traveled west to Klang to meet up with Jie Ying. It takes another 5 hours to reach Klang!
Yeah!! I've finally tasted Klang Bak Kut Teh! Bak Kut Teh Mission Accomplish!! Klang Bak Kut Teh was really NICE! Thumbs Up! Tried Dry Bak Kut Teh as well, yum yum~
We were overjoyed when we found out that Bar BQ Plaza had a branch at Klang. Miss it so much~
Jie Ying then joined us for the trip and we headed north to find Junne...
Okok..it's time to cool down. After so much frustration, I still managed to post this entry and shared my trip. Hehehe...
What is Pre-Study Week Trip all about?
Organizing a trip at the end of every semester has became a culture and our mission, I think. Although we still have projects and presentations coming up, we were able to put all those projects aside and organize a short distance trip to relax, refresh and recharge ourselves b4 the battle starts!
3 of my very noisy and 'tam-chiak' course-mates followed me back to Muar b4 study week starts. Felt like I was qualified to be the tour guide for my hometown as I brought them Jalan-jalan Cari Makan! Hahaha...
Although Muar doesn't have many places to go, Tanjung is certainly a nice place to hang out. It is a suitable place for recreation. Take a stroll along Muar River and enjoy the breeze. Surprisingly, a place like Tanjung wasn't easy to be found in other places.
Monkeys berkeliaran at Tanjung
Being a Muarian, those monkeys at Tanjung were simply wild and scary to me. I won't even bothered to stay and look at it! However, to my surprise again, my course-mates were very excited as they see these huge crowd of monkeys 'berkeliaran' everywhere! I guess this is one of the attraction at Tanjung ya...So, remember to bring your friends to this 'tourist spot' whenever they come to Muar!
Brought my course-mates to Yong Sheng Confectionery to buy some local products. This newly-opened Yong Sheng located at Bakri is as grand as a hotel and a good place to buy gifts. Everything there was so tasty and you wish you can buy all!
Besides, there are Cafe everywhere in Muar, especially at town area. Most of the cafe are well-decorated with nice ambient. Most importantly, the price of drinks and foods of these cafe are reasonable.
Muar, is a place for good food! Never miss to try otah, pork satay, O-chien, ikan bakar, asam fish and many other food if you are in Muar.

How time flies isn't it? The day that we've been looking forward to has finally come! Looking forward to holidays, gathering with family & friends and celebrating CNY.
Look what I've done while counting down to CNY...
Got this cute decoration pasted on the door at my hostel room a month ago b4 CNY. Thanks to my neighbors from KDSE for decorating this for me. They are making me so into CNY mood ever since that time. Started listening to CNY songs and counting down to CNY.
Steamboat Reunion Dinner with my course-mates. I think it has become a culture for us to organize a reunion dinner b4 CNY. We simply loves to organize this kind of event as we get to eat and have fun at the same time!
Attended Xin Chun Event at UTM. Frankly speaking, the celebration this year was quite disappointing. The event wasn't properly organized and the decorations was quite dull compared to last year.
Waited almost 2 hours for the opening ceremony. The sound system wasn't clear at the beginning of the show and the overall programs were not as good as expected. However, some of the performances like 象声(xiang sheng) and the drama entitled 'CindeRiama' performed by my course-mate, Max, was good!
Since this year is the year of TIGER, the tiger decorations can easily be found everywhere. However, some tiger decorations makes the tiger loses it's identity!
This was the so called tiger @ Sutera Mall, JB. The whiskers and the sharp mouth is making this tiger looks more like a mouse than a tiger to me. There are some tigers that looks more like cats! Since when the fierce tiger became so tame? Hahaha..
Watched this movie recently and found it very meaningful. A romantic comedy that brings out the value of friendship. A story about two best friends that turns out to become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day. Does it worth to treat your best friend in such a manner? Watch it to know what's all about.
Sometimes, you really can find that one person who will stand by you no matter what.
Maybe you will find it in a spouse and celebrate it with your dream wedding.
But there's also the chance that the one person you can count on for a lifetime,
the one person who knows you sometimes better than you know yourself is the same person who’s been standing beside you all along.”
Where has January gone to??
Lovena's car had finally arrived in Johor. Wuhoo~waited for the arrival of her car since last semester. No wonder we were so excited to drove her car back all the way from Johore Port!
What makes me even more excited is that I don't have to drive motor in campus and get to avoid from being expose myself into the damn HOT sun that it tanning me!
The port looks exactly like those scene we watched in Hong Kong action movies or dramas. The scene where they jump from one container to another, shooting here and there!! I think I'd watched too much movie and imagining too much! Hahaha...
The Prosperity Burger is back!! We definitely won't miss a chance to grab it cause it was available for limited time only. It would be your favorite burger if you love pepper and onions.
Since Chinese New Year is just around the corner, don't miss out the Prosperity Burger as it's gonna make you Prosperous...HUAT ar!!

The bunch of our course-mates offered our help by folding the brochures, folding posters, staple it onto the strings, etc. Really need a lot of manpower to do all these minor stuffs. With the cooperation of our course-mates, we managed to get things done in a more efficient manner.
Does this looks like the road that leads to HELL??

I love this buffet style sushi as you can eat as much as you want. Really get to 'makan secukup-cukupnya' as you don't need to worry about the expensive bills! RM 29 of lunch can make you so FULL that eventually last you until dinner and breakfast for the following day. Hahaha...
Tasted lotz of good food in Kuching. There are simply too much good food and we just don't have enough time to try all! In order to try as many food as possible, we ended up moving from place to place and ate several times 4 a single meal!
These are Kuching's Signature Dishes....
In Peninsular, Teh Peng is commonly found whereas in Kuching, Teh C Peng can be found in every kopitiams.
Teh C Peng Special or 3-layer Teh C Peng has 3 visual layers consist of gula Melaka syrup, evaporated milk and a layer of tea.
4-layer Teh C Peng (extra greenish pandan layer) and 5-layer Teh C Peng(extra cincau layer) is also available.

From left: Sugar Cane + Lime, Sugar Cane + Coconut, Barley + Coconut
Aren't those labels confusing?? Better update those labels to give visitors a clear description.
Gosh!! Found this kinda ridiculous & funny. What kinda toilet is this when a person is not allowed to poo? Hahaha...
Finally...
This trip won't be a success without our "Hot & Sexy Organizer" with her "Strategic Plans"! Thanks Lovena for the accommodation, transportation & the efforts for bringing us around her territory. Will definitely make a trip to Kuching next time!
